Biratnagar, March 19: Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala has said implementation of the constitution is the major task at hand and all parties should contribute to this.
Leader Koirala said this talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today. She stressed on focusing on upholding national interest and development by resolving the country's burning problems.
She stressed that the main agenda of the Nepali Congress is implementation of the constitution whether it is in government or in the opposition.
Leader Koirala urged the newly-elected party president Sher Bahadur Deuba to do away with the factionalism within the party and take all along with him, underlining the need for all to work for strengthening the party organisation.
Pointing out the need of having 33 per cent reservation for women in the party in line with the constitution, Koirala said, "It would be appropriate to nominate a female to the post of party vice president since the president is a male."
