Bhaktapur, March 19: Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi has said the Nepali Congress would now devote to country's political outlet and development activities.
At a programme organized by the newly elected district committee of the party here Saturday, leader Nidhi said NC was shouldering the responsibility to bring all political parties in once place to wipe out misunderstanding and forge consensus.
According to him, the NC would help in effectively implementing the constitution and addressing the Madhes demands and resolving the dispute over the delineation of the provincial borders.
On the occasion, central member of the party Bal Krishna Khand seconded leader Nidhi that NC was mandated to resolve the disputes in the country and forge consensus to advance country towards development.
The newly elected working committee of the party in the district assumed the office Saturday.
