athmandu, March 10: The International Ice Hockey Federation (IICF) is
sending a technical team to run a feasibility study on building ice rink
in Nepal.
The IICF has shown interest for the same in a meeting held between National Sports Council Member-Secretary Keshav Kumar Bista and IICF's President Rene Fasel at Zurich in Switzerland on Thursday, according to Nepal Ice Hockey Association.
Association's President Lok Bahadur Shahi shared that IICF's President Fasel acknowledged building ice rink in the country of Mount Everest as a historic one.
Council has already pledged a piece of land for building basic infrastructures for the same, according to Council's Member-Secretary Bista.
