Golbazaar (Siraha), March 19: Minister for Science, Technology and Environment, Biswendra Paswan has challenged the parties not happy over certain provisions of the new constitution to amend it through two-third majority support in parliament.
The Minister said this while inaugurating the MM Hospital at Mirchaiya Municipality-5 in Siraha district today.
Stating that the constitution was passed by an overwhelming majority of the parliament, he said only a handful of leaders who have self-interest have been misinforming the people that the constitution was anti-Madhes.
He said that leaders of some parties were taking recourse to anarchic means for fulfilling their vested interests, referring to the Madhes-centric parties and opined that the politics of vested interest and anarchy did not benefit both the society and the country.
Minister Paswan said that the country would be free from load-shedding within four or five months.
