Govt will not change, says Industry Minister Pandey

Gaighat (Udayapur), March 9: Industry Minister Som Prasad Pandey today said that the incumbent government would not change.
“Rumours are spreading that the incumbent government would change or topple. But there is not any truth in such rumours. The government will not change any more,” he said.
The minister was speaking at a press conference organised by the Press Chautari Nepal, Udayapur.
He argued that the government could not change as it has performed well and garnered majority.
On a different note, minister Pandey said that the ministry would take initiative immediately to carry out reforms in the Udayapur Cement Industry, saying that production capacity of the nation’s largest cement industry should be increased.
He also informed that the government was working to set up industrial zones in seven provinces of the country for the development of industry.
The Industry Minister also said that the government was working to include a programme with policy in the budget to be brought for upcoming fiscal year for the expansion of industrial centres.
