Dhangadhi, March 9: Minister for Health and Population, Ramjanam
Chaudhari, has said initiative was taken to change the
under-construction medical college at Geta into a health science
academy.
At a concluding programme of the PABSON festival
organized by the Private and Boarding Schools' Organization here
Wednesday, Minister Chaudhari said the academy would be named after
martyr Dasharath Chand. "Once the health science academy is
established, people's compulsion to visit India for treatment will end,"
he stressed.
Similarly, he shared that efforts were underway to
address the lack of skilled human resources at Dhangadhi-based Seti
zonal hospital.
During the PABSON festival, various activities
among the school students were held. The students with excellent
performance in the festival were awarded on the occasion. RSS
